MANAGING DIRECTOR / HEAD PRODUCER & COMPOSER

OJ

After studying jazz piano and arrangement at the Bill Evans Academy in Paris, Israeli-born multi-instrumentalist OJ moved to London where he joined soul-rock group Soul Abyss, performing, writing and arranging the tracks, and developing a love for recording and composition.

A desire for perfectionism over touring, led OJ to set up a studio in his garage, inviting other musicians and engineers to live and create music with him. The result was The Musician’s House. In 2010 OJ moved the studio out of his house and into professional premises, setting up Soho Sonic Studios just off Oxford Circus.

FRIDEL

Over the last ten years Fridel has been writing and producing music for film, TV, theatre, albums production and mobile apps. He composed music for channels like BBC, 4 music, Universal, Al Jazeera international, CNN, Discovery. He scored theatre and dance productions nationally and internationally such as Scapino Ballet, Tim Supple, Habima National Theatre, Schaubühne Berlin. He produced and mixed albums for leading artists in Europe and the UK.

Fridel started out as a classically-trained tuba player, performing with the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra and the National Opera, before coming to the UK to study Audio Production at the University of Westminster, London

STUDIO MANAGER

REBECCA

Rebecca is the Studio Manager here at Soho Sonic, overseeing bookings, client relationships and project coordination across music, voiceover, ADR, podcast, and media productions. She works closely with artists, composers, engineers, and creatives to ensure every project runs smoothly from concept to completion.

Outside of the studio, Rebecca is a songwriter and producer with a passion for music, film, and media. She enjoys writing and producing original music, as well as painting and reading. Her experience across both the creative and business sides of the industry allows her to support clients with a practical and artist-focused approach.

A&R/HEAD OF ARTIST DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME

CHLOE

Chloe oversees the artist development program at Soho Sonic, where she is dedicated to helping artists and producers bring their musical visions to life. Leading end-to-end distribution and producing our live industry showcases, she draws from a rich background in talent booking, sync, and festival programming across London, Chicago, and SXSW. True to her passion for supporting talent, she also independently books and promotes her own live multi-act gigs around London. Outside of the studio, Chloe lives for live music. She’s a major fusion music fan who loves hitting up gigs to catch everything from Tamino and Parcels to Carole King, Dermot Henry, and Makeshift Art Bar.

FRANCESCO

Multi-instrumentalist and music enthusiast, Francesco is a well-rounded music producer. With classical and jazz training, he’s an expert in live instrumentation music and likes to include organic sounds in modern electronic productions. He specialises in Pop, R&B with jazzy elements and traditional singer-songwriter music. Credits include Alfie Boe, Tony Hadley (Spandau Ballet), Charming Horses and Laura Wright but also BBC, Warner Music and Universal to name a few.

TOM

A&R, PRODUCER MANAGEMENT COORDINATOR, SOCIAL MEDIA REPRESENTATIVE & SONGWRITER

KIANA

Kiana is an A&R and Producer Management Coordinator, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer with a love for connecting great people and great music. She manages producer relationships, develops new client opportunities, organises songwriting camps, and works as a songwriter. Often acting as the bridge between creative and business teams, she helps bring projects from concept to completion.

Beyond A&R and management, she supports branding, social media, visual design, and event promotion, helping ensure every project reaches the right audience while staying true to its creative vision.

JUNIOR PRODUCER & ENGINEER

ZHENYA

Specialising in ADR, voice-over, podcast production, and remote recording sessions for international clients, Zhenya is an Audio Engineer working across a wide range of media and music projects. Alongside studio practice, he is currently studying Data Science & Analytics at the University of Westminster and working in audio post-production for short films, bringing a combination of technical expertise and attention to detail to every project.

ALISA

Alisa is a  Producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist; specialising in indie, rock, pop and alternative with a passion for organic sounds and experimental means of recording. 

In her spare time, Alisa loves to crate-digging for vintage gear and wildlife photography on analogue film.

MOLLY

Molly is a producer, engineer and songwriter with a background in classical piano. From a young age, Molly has performed in bands and orchestras before gaining a passion for songwriting and music production. She has since studied music technology at university and has led many music, theatrical and soundscape productions and compositions. Molly now works as a producer and songwriter at Soho Sonic Studios and runs the Artist Development Program for upcoming artists. Her production strengths include contemporary jazz & soul, bedroom pop, acoustic & folk genres. Molly’s influences include Lianne La Havis, SAULT, Joy Crookes, Cleo Sol, Inflo and Alabama Shakes.

MAX

Max is a junior producer and an engineer, specialising in hip-hop, R&B and experimental electronic music.

At the age of 6 Max started attending music school to learn piano and drums, and later as a teen picked up production, inspired by the sampling techniques of J Dilla and Pete Rock. 

He moved to London at 17 to pursue a degree in Sound Arts and Design at UAL, where he began creating sound design and compose music for various visual media. 

Max’s current points of reference include Flying Lotus, JPEGMAFIA and Ivan Dorn.

BETH

Beth is an engineer and producer originally from the Midlands. She is a multi-instrumentalist – being self taught at guitar, keys, bass and vocals and is aiming to expand this skill set with drums and saxophone. 

After acquiring a degree in sound design, Beth moved to London to pursue a career in the industry with the Soho Sonic team. Whilst she maintains her strengths in recording and post-production, she is also developing her production and song-writing skills. 

Beth draws inspiration from jazz, pop and alternative music and has been heavily influenced by artists such as Jordan Rakei, FKJ, Upsahl and Arctic Monkeys.

BENJAMIN

Ben is a music producer, composer, video editor, and vocalist/instrumentalist with a keen interest in UK Grime, Hip-Hop, as well as music compositions for films and promotional videos. Ben completed his Bachelor’s with Honours degree in Creative Music Technology in 2020, during which time he achieved professional recognition as a producer with the 2019 release of Durrty Goodz’s track ‘Brexit.’ Since graduating, Ben has released two singles on Spotify, and has undertaken a range of freelance projects, requiring video editing and music production/composition.

NATAN

Natan Sterenfeld is sound engineer, producer and musician from London. Coming from a musical background and playing guitar for many artists/bands, he developed a great interest in recording and production. After finishing a degree in music from the university of Chichester, Natan came to Soho Sonic to gain experience and knowledge to help further his career in the music industry.

ALEJANDRO

Alejandro Valdes is a music producer, sound mixer and sound designer with over 10 years of experience in the music and audio industry. After completing an MA in Audio Production at the University of Westminster, he gained further experience working as an Audio Engineer at Soho Sonic Studios and has worked as live sound engineer for different bars in Central London.

He has worked in sessions for British acts such as Lisa Stansfield, Keane, Mica Paris, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, Mike Skinner, David Henstchel, Lethal Bizzle, Shakka, Kwabs among others. Also, he has participated as recording and mixing engineer for commercials for brands such as Samsung, Habitat, British Museum, KPMG and DHL. In 2019 he attended the Mastering Academy in Hamburg to study new trends in audio post – production. Currently, he enjoys mixing music and sound for TV.

Alejandro’s Influences include Quincy Jones, David Foster, Baby Face, Max Martin and Mark Ronson.

DOR

Dor’s journey in the studio began at the age of 10, experimenting with multitrack drumming using just two tape recorders. This early fascination ignited a lifelong passion for tracking drums.

Dor has the privilege of performing alongside talented A list artists on stages around the world. Additionally, he has gained valuable experience in the studio, spending time as a resident drummer at Funkadelic Studios in New York City and later at Soho Sonic Recording in London.

In the studio, Dor’s focus lies on providing reliable and skillful drum tracking services. His work can be heard on various and numerous projects globally, reflecting his versatility and dedication to his craft.

Marco Barosi is a musician and recording, mixing and mastering engineer based in London with over 15 years of experience performing live and honing his craft as an engineer and producer.

Recognised for his expertise and keen ear for detail, Marco seamlessly blends technical expertise with artistic vision, with a special focus on Rock, Indie, Folk, Pop, Country and R&B music.

Marco is known for his extensive knowledge of live instruments’ recording techniques and sound sculpting, which together to his technical expertise of mixing tools, create the perfect match for his signature open and larger than life sound.

Marco has worked as an engineer and producer with artists such as Dua Saleh, Shaggy and Lavbbe, CeCe Sammy-Lighfoot, alba, Milena Galasso and Cosmetic.

‘mintsauce’ is the moniker of German/English Producer & Engineer Dom Feil-Roots. Dom has been writing and producing in the Pop, Hip-Hop, and RnB/Electronic space since 2022, and his music has since gained over 50M streams across platforms and reached positions as high as 5 in the official UK Top 40. Dom is now working with artists such as Timbaland, Chinchilla, Solomon, SKYLAR, Jude Moore, Lavils, Lost Girl, Pat, Vic, S.A.M, H33ra, Milky Sad, Sijal, and Kaya Imani.

Ian Holmes is a producer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and artist. 

Firmly cementing himself within the global contemporary pop scene, Ian has racked up collaborations with artists including Solomon, Mannywellz, Jude Moore, Tom Felton, Toni Romiti, Tom King and Eurovision contestant Victor Vernicos.

His latest release, Jude Moore’s Twisted, peaked at #5 on the Official UK top 40 charts and #2 on the iTunes downloads charts.

EMILLE

After picking up the guitar at a very young age, Swedish-born Emille has developed a passion for music. Having studied Professional Music Performance at the Academy of Contemporary Music (ACM) with Guitar as his discipline, he has shifted his focus onto Music Production and Sound Design – specialising in Electronic Dance Music, Pop and Rap/Hip-Hop. Emille has worked with up and coming artists as a Producer, as well as having released several tracks as an Electronic Dance Music artist.

MAYA

Maya is a multi-instrumentalist who got her diploma in classical piano and is a self-taught vocalist and guitarist aiming to expand her skill set. 

Having grown up in Lebanon, she sings and writes in English, Arabic and French. She moved to London to acquire a Music degree from King’s College London and is now pursuing a career in Music. 

Her expertise lies in vocal arranging, music composition and orchestration. Maya is also a songwriter, drawing inspiration from classical, jazz, folk and indie pop music, while striving to

develop her skills in production and post-production.

VITTORIO

Vittorio is a Producer, Mix Engineer, Sound Designer and Songwriter. For almost ten years he’s been curating artists and bands’ projects with approaches tending towards experimental pop, indie rock and bass music.

Coming from the music business scene of Rome and Naples, he offers a personal creative process where productions and lyrics should reflect as much as possible the sonic authenticity and artistic identity of the subject. Understanding the expressive nature of the project is a crucial aspect he considers in each session, especially writing sessions.

Besides studio related works, he’s a Promoter and Creative Director of different events in UK and Italy, trying to push and connect different yet complementary music scenes from both underground and mainstream backgrounds.

CHRISI

Chrisi is a rapper, vocalist, and producer whose sharp intersectional feminist anthems draw on classical roots and modern hip-hop and R’n’B influences.If not working on music you can find Chrisi nose-deep in a book, out in the streets politically organising, or upside down on a pole.

ALEX

Currently working as an intern, Alex is a producer, artist, singer and mixing engineer. They specialise in atmospheric pop and indie music, with broader experience in electronic and hip-hop production and a keen ear for musical detail. 

Having completed an MA in Music Production at ICMP and worked at a variety of studios across London, they have a wide range of expertise both as an assistant and a producer. Outside of studio work, they have also worked on soundtracks for live theatre, video games and art installations.

KATHERINE

Katherine is an aspiring music producer/DJ currently studying a BEng in Electronics Engineering with AI at the University of Surrey while completing Soho Sonic’s 6 month internship programme. With a background in the music business, Katherine has gained experience across artist bookings, record label marketing and digital marketing, including artist outreach and booking coordination at Sevens Artist Agency and marketing campaigns at Mystery Freedom Records.

Katherine’s creative journey began in dance, training at the Royal Academy of Dance and Grayes Theatre Arts in Jazz, Musical Theatre, Street and Hip-Hop before discovering music production at the age of 13. After teaching herself production in GarageBand, she progressed to FL Studio and later Logic Pro. Following a brief period at The BRIT School, Katherine pivoted to pursue A Levels in Maths, Physics and Music Technology at Reigate College, while also performing in a Gospel choir for 5 years and achieving Grade 4 ABRSM Piano.

As an artist, Katherine draws inspiration from electronic artists such as James Hype, John Summit, Tita Lau & Anyma, alongside songwriters and performers including Tate McRae and Charlie Puth. 

Combining her creative background with her engineering studies, Katherine is passionate about exploring the intersection of music, technology and business, with the long-term ambition of pursuing entrepreneurship alongside her music journey.

Beth is a music producer and audio engineer from Essex. Beth has been writing and producing within a Hyperpop, Dance, Hiphop and alt pop sonic scene since 2023. She has written for BMG, Ministry of Sound and collaborated with artists such as Mané. As well as producing and writing for others, she also nurtures her own artist project, drawing influences from Fred Again, Charli XCX, PinkPanthress and Timberland.Beth is a music producer and audio engineer from Essex.
