British Summer Time – Hyde Park (Thursday June 18th – Saturday June 27th)

For the third year running, Hyde Park will play host to some of the biggest and most popular music artists.

The festival takes place in small stages, and celebrates music, food, comedy and theatre.

The Strokes will open the festival on the Thursday, playing their first London show in over 5 years. They are one of indie rock’s defining and most influential bands, having sold over 5 million albums.

Other singers performing throughout the festival are Blur, Kylie and The Who. Mid-week is where the comedians get there time to shine, before the music takes over again at the weekend!

One of the most talked about artists of the moment, Taylor Swift, will be appearing on Saturday 27th to close the festival. She’s a seven times Grammy award winner and one of the hottest singers right now – definitely one not to be missed.

Also appearing that Saturday is Ellie Goulding and John Newman!
If you live close enough to attend the festival to watch one of these incredible acts, we suggest getting tickets. It’s without a doubt going to be an amazing experience, no matter who you go to watch!

Wireless – Finsbury Park (Friday 3rd July – Sunday 5th July)

This is the second year that Finsbury Park has hosted the Wireless music festival – a celebration of the best hip-hop, R&B and dance music.

Drake headlines Friday, with other acts including Labrinth, Duke Dumont and Lethal Bizzle. Saturday sees Avicii, Jess Glynne and Mary J Blige take the stage, whilst Sunday gives host to stars such as David Guetta, Jessie J, Nicki Minaj and Clean Bandit.

If you like R&B or dance music – this is a festival for you!
